Lyons McConnell is an Architecture Firm located in Morristown, New Jersey.  Lyons McConnell Architecture Construction is the partnership of John Lyons and Bruce McConnell.  John and Bruce have worked together since 1999. They have developed a young traditional architectural style and streamlined process for project delivery. This allows them to provide clients with efficiency and flexibility throughout design and construction.  John and Bruce believe that communication, responsiveness, and good design are the keys to Lyons McConnell’s ability to create successful relationships as well as buildings.  As a team they recognize the importance of keeping a close attention to detail and the value of keeping beauty in architecture. 

 

John Lyons is a licensed Architect in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  He earned a Masters in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a BS in Marketing from Rutgers College.  John is a LEED Accredited Professional and member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).  John’s design sense is influenced by his years spent living in Philadelphia and his time studying in Europe.

Bruce McConnell’s extensive architectural background includes award-winning designs ranging from luxury residences and restaurants to public convention centers. His designs encompass key elements such as luxury, comfort and energy efficiency. In addition to his architectural background, Bruce has extensive experience in construction management. His unique designs and concepts married with his proficient use of AutoCAD, Revit and other designing software has achieved him several industry accolades including Autodesk’s Revit BIM Experience award winner and International Masonry Institute’s NJIT masonry competition first place winner. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
